Welcome to the home of the Hook Beer Festival

Cancellation of the 2020 Beer Fest

Having hoped we would be able to rearrange the postponed 2020 Hook Beer Fest we have unfortunately come to the decision that this is no longer a viable option for us. This decision has been taken for the safety of all involved, and the ongoing uncertainty.

Having considered various options we have made the decision to provide refunds for all tickets where this is requested rather than using these to hold tickets for a future festival. As you are no doubt aware the Hook Beer Fest is run by volunteers solely to raise money for charity 1st Hook Scout Group and Princess Alice Hospital), obviously along with providing an enjoyable event.

Claim your refund, those that purchased tickets online should have received an email with details of claiming your refund, if not please contact us via the linked form. If you purchased paper ticket directly from one of our team please contact them should you wish for a refund, any ticket fees not claimed will be assumed as a donation to our charities.

Covid19 Statement and Update - 16 Mar 2020

In view of the government’s announcement today to avoid social contact and the increasing risk to individual’s health caused by Covid-19 the HBF committee have, after much debate and with great regret, taken the decision to postpone the 11th Annual Hook Beer Festival due to be held on April 24th & 25th 2020 until later in the year.

Our primary concern and responsibility is the welfare of our visitors, volunteers and all others associated with this great annual event. We know that many will be as disappointed, as we are, but trust that our decision will be understood by all.

Please bear with us whilst we work hard to unravel all of the planning and commitments related to the event in April and we are pleased to confirm our intention to hold the 11th annual Hook Beer Fest later this year. We will contact all who have purchased tickets by email and post all further updates here on the website and on social media. We expect all tickets will be valid for the same corresponding session later in the year.

Thank you for your understanding in these times of unprecedented uncertainty. Please stay safe.
